Del Mar Racetrack's 13th Bing Crosby Season opens Friday, Nov. 6, with a 15-race stakes schedule worth $2.1 million in purses.

The fall meet runs through Sunday, Nov. 29. Its marquee weekend lands over Thanksgiving, when the FanDuel Racing Turf Festival brings a cluster of graded stakes to the seaside oval. Saturday, Nov. 28, features a triple-header: the $300,000 Grade 1 Hollywood Derby (1⅛ miles on turf for 3-year-olds), the Grade 2 Seabiscuit (1 1/16 miles on turf), and the Grade 3 Jimmy Durante (one mile on grass for 2-year-old fillies).

Last year's results set the bar. Trainer Chad Brown shipped Salamis from the East Coast to win the 2025 Hollywood Derby. The Seabiscuit produced a 68-1 upset when Call Sign Seven crossed first.

Closing day, Sunday, Nov. 29, carries four stakes led by the Grade 1 Matriarch (one mile on turf, fillies and mares), plus the Grade 3 Cecil B. DeMille, the Grade 3 Bayakoa and the $100,000 Stormy Liberal turf sprint.

The meet opens with the $100,000 Let It Ride Stakes on Nov. 6, a one-mile grass race for 3-year-olds. Opening weekend also includes the $100,000 The Chosen Vron Stakes on Sunday, Nov. 8, and the $100,000 Betty Grable Stakes on Monday, Nov. 9. Week two brings the $100,000 Desi Arnaz Stakes for juvenile fillies on Sunday, Nov. 15, and the Grade 3 Bob Hope on Monday, Nov. 16. The Grade 3 Native Diver (1⅛ miles) runs Saturday, Nov. 21.

Thanksgiving Day itself features the $100,000 Red Carpet Stakes, a 1⅜-mile turf race for fillies and mares. The Grade 2 Hollywood Turf Cup (1½ miles) follows on Friday, Nov. 27.

Racing runs Friday through Sunday most weeks, with Monday cards added during the first two weekends and Thursday racing during Thanksgiving week. First post is 12:30 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving, when gates open at 11 a.m.

Tickets went on sale Wednesday, Aug. 19, according to the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club's official calendar. The track announced the sale on its official X account, noting the meet is highlighted by the $300,000 Hollywood Derby.

The announcement comes as the summer meet enters its final stretch. Through Thursday, Aug. 27, jockey Joel Rosario holds a seven-win lead over Juan Hernandez atop the rider standings, with $2,117,492 in earnings. Trainer Doug O'Neill reached 20 wins first, eight clear of Philip D'Amato. The summer meet runs through Monday, Sept. 7.

Del Mar's average field size of 8.52 runners per race is up from 2025 and 2024, according to the track's Stable Notes.
