Del Mar and Solana Beach voters should find voter information pamphlets in their mailboxes after San Diego County began mailing them to more than 2 million registered voters the weekend of Sept. 27, Times of San Diego reported.
The pamphlets cover the Tuesday, Nov. 3, general election. Each one includes candidate statements, ballot measures, a sample ballot and the addresses of official drop boxes and vote centers, according to the county Registrar of Voters. Voters who signed up for electronic delivery should have already received an email with a link to their pamphlet.
Del Mar has 3,233 registered voters and Solana Beach has 9,543, according to the Registrar's Aug. 31 report. Both cities have contested council races on the ballot.
How to return your ballot
Ballots go out the week of Monday, Oct. 5. Voters can return them three ways: by mail with no postage required, at an official ballot drop box or at any vote center.

What's on the ballot
Del Mar voters will fill two City Council seats. One opens because Councilmember Terry Gaasterland's term expires. The other has been vacant since former Councilmember Dwight Worden resigned in September 2024.
