Fleet Treat Stakes winner She's No Quant leads a field of 3-year-old fillies into the Grade 3 Torrey Pines Stakes at Del Mar on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The one-mile dirt race caps a stakes-heavy weekend at the seaside oval. Thirteen fillies were nominated, according to Del Mar's Stable Notes published Sunday, Aug. 23. Entries were scheduled to be drawn Wednesday, Aug. 26.

She's No Quant, owned by Reddam Racing, enters on a three-race winning streak. The daughter of Pavel rallied from behind in the stretch under jockey Juan Hernandez to overtake 4-to-5 favorite Mohaven in the $150,000 Fleet Treat Stakes earlier this meet, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. That California-bred stakes race was restricted to 3-year-old fillies, the same division contesting the Torrey Pines.

The rematch is set.

Mohaven, trained by John Sadler, was the 4-to-5 favorite in the Fleet Treat before She's No Quant overtook her in the stretch. Sadler's filly figures to be among the top challengers again in a field that could include several of the original 13 nominees.

The Torrey Pines Stakes falls during the penultimate week of Del Mar's summer meet, which closes Monday, Sept. 7. Last year's Torrey Pines winner, Om N Joy, ran fourth in the Grade 1 Pacific Classic on Saturday, Aug. 22. That day drew 15,187 fans and a mutuel handle of $29.14 million, the second-highest in Del Mar history outside the Breeders' Cup.

Saturday, Aug. 29, features two graded stakes: the Grade 2 Del Mar Handicap and the Grade 2 Pat O'Brien Stakes. The three-race weekend marks one of the final major cards before the meet wraps Sept. 7.
