A monthly coffee meetup for young professionals in Solana Beach has grown from a handful of attendees to more than 20 each session, the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce said in a paid column in The Coast News on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

The program's centerpiece is Coffee Club, a free monthly gathering that rotates among Chamber member cafes. Host venues have included T's Cafe, The Coop Bakehouse & Pantry and Achilles Coffee.

The Solana Beach Chamber co-hosts each session with the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, giving attendees a chance to meet peers from the neighboring city. The format is casual: participants introduce themselves and talk about what they're working on rather than swapping business cards.

The program also includes Cheers to Careers, a quarterly evening social hour with food and drinks. Both events are free, though the Chamber encourages attendees to buy something from the host café. Participants receive a loyalty card to bring to each session, according to the Chamber's event listing.

A September 2026 Coffee Club session is scheduled. Residents can check the event calendar at solanabeachchamber.com for the date.
